Indonesia adalah negara dimana orang orang akan bersama sama berjuang melawan kesulitan dengan sprit gotong royong.

Dengan kondisi krisis akibat penyebaran COVID-19, semua pemerintah daerah berperan strategis dalam menangkal penyebarannya serta menangani dampak sosial ekonomi akibat penyebarannya melalui Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan dan Penanggulangan COVID-19.

Sadar bahwa Pemerintah baik Pemerintah Pusat, Provinsi maupun Kabupaten/Kota tidak bisa bergerak sendiri melawan COVID-19, maka DPK IKAPTK Kota Madiun melakukan serangkaian aksi peduli untuk membantu penangangan COVID-19.

Pada Tahap pertama pada tanggal 11 April 2020, DPK IKAPTK Kota Madiun menyerahkan bantuan sebanyak 100 paket sembako diserahkan kepada Walikota Madiun selaku ketua Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan dan Penanggulangan COVID-19 Kota Madiun agar dapat digunakan untuk membantu masyarakat yang membutuhkan yang terdampak COVID-19.

Aksi sosial akan dilanjutkan pada tahap tahap selanjutnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan dana yang masuk.

Wali kota Madiun, Maedi menyampaikan terima kasih kepada DPK IKAPTK KOTA MADIUN yang telah peduli terhadap masyarakat yang susah. Semoga IKAPTK hadir memberikan pencerahan dan harapan baru di hati masyarakat dan di jajaran pemerintahan daerah, guna membangun masyarakat dan daerah yang lebih baik, maju, modern dan demokratis, akuntabel serta partisipatif.

Kesadaran yang memberikan harapan bahwa krisis COVID-19 akan segera berakhir, jika semua elemen bergerak saling membantu.
