Usai pelaksanaan apel HUT RI ke-75, Senin (17/8) pagi Gubernur Sumatera Barat Irwan Prayitno didampingi Wagub Nasrul Abit menghadiri Gebrakan Bersama Pakai Masker (Gebrak Masker) di Sumbar yang dipusatkan di Danau Cimpago Padang.
Gebrak Masker adalah inisiasi Dewan Pengurus Nadional Ikatan Keluarga Alumni Pendidikan Tinggi Kepamongprajaan (DPN IKAPTK) bersama TP PKK Pusat menindaklajuti edaran presiden dan mendagri dalam gerakan sejuta masker di Indnesia. Gerakan ini dianggap sangat penting sebagai salah satu cara efektif memutus mata rantai penularan covid-19 di Indonesia.
“Gebrak Masker yang diadakan serentak di seluruh Indonesia merupakan bagian kampanye hidup sehat sebagai dukungan kegiatan pemerintah untuk mengajak masyarakat agar menggunakan masker dalam upaya pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19,” ujar gubernur Sumbar Irwan Prayitno mengawali sambutannya.
Penyebaran Covid-19 di Sumatera Barat walaupun secara nasional masih tergolong rendah, posivity yang rendah dan testing ratenya tinggi, namun perlu dilakukan berbagai upaya terus menerus agar pemaparannya bisa dikendalikan dengan baik. Seminggu terakhir tercatat terjadinya lonjakan yang cukup signifikan, walaupun secara posivity ratenya rendah, tetapi harus tetap selalu waspada.
“Seminggu ini cukup tinggi lompatannya, walau secara nasional sumbar tergolong paling rendah posivity ratenya dan rata-rata kasusnya berawal dari luar daerah (imported case). Untuk mencegah terjadinya penyebaran dalam daerah (local transmission), maka pemakaian masker secara ketat dengan kedisiplin tinggi sangat diharapkan. Dalam hal ini pemerintah tak henti-hentinya meminta agar seluruh warga tetap taat dan patuh dengan protokol kesehatan jika beraktivitas, salah satunya adalah mengenakan masker,” sebutnya.
Irwan menekankan, masyarakat haruslah menggunakan masker dengan benar. Jangan asal tergantung di kepala saja atau melekat sampai dagu.
“Gunakan masker dengan benar. Terutama saat berbicara, sebab saat itulah droplet keluar dan bertebaran kemana-mana. Apalagi dengan banyaknya kasus orang tanpa gejala (OTG), dimana Kita tidak mengetahui jika orang tersebut ternyata membawa virus berbahaya ini. Dengan penggunaan masker yang benar terbukti paling efektif dalam mencegah penularan virus corona yang menyebar lewat transmisi udara,” jelas gubernur panjang lebar.
Irwan juga menyoroti kurangnya kesadaran pelaku kuliner dalam penerapan penggunaan masker.
“Masih banyak ditemui pelayan rumah makan yang tidak gunakan masker dengan benar saat melayani konsumen. Mereka kadang asyik ngobrol saat mengambil makanan. Ini perlu dicermati serius pelaku kuliner di Sumbar. Kita dari pemprov pun akan semakin gencar mensosialisasikan penggunaan masker ini,” terangnya.
Sebenarnya manfaat penggunaan masker di saat pandemi telah teruji lewat riset dan penelitian. Mengenakan masker wajah di rumah membantu menghentikan penyebaran virus corona di antara anggota keluarga. Sedangkan memakai masker wajah di tempat umum adalah cara yang paling efektif untuk mencegah penularan antar-manusia.
Gubernur Irwan juga berpesan, dalam kehidupan normal baru, protokol kesehatan wajib menjadi budaya ditengah masyarakat.
“Memasuki era kehidupan normal baru, 3 (tiga) prilaku masyarakat haruslah menjadi budaya. Prilaku tersebut yaitu menggunakan masker dengan benar, menerapkan physical distancing saat bersosialisasi dan rajin cuci tangan,” tutup Irwan.
Acara Gebrak Masker ini turut dihadiri Forkopimda, beberapa Kepala OPD Pemprov Sumbar serta TP PKK Sumbar. (JR/EK)
