Pada hari Minggu, 3 Mei 2020, DPK IKAPTK KAB BANDUNG BARAT membagikan 110 paket sembako untuk masyarakat yang memerlukan. Setiap paket sembako itu terdiri dari :
- Beras 10 kg
- Minyak goreng 2 liter
- Mie 10
- Gula 1 kg
- Telur 1 kotak @30 butir
Kegiatan tersebut ditujukan untuk membantu masyarakat yang terdampak Covid-19. Pandemi Covid-19 tidak hanya persoalan kesehatan, ratusan bahkan ribuan masyarakat menjadi terdampak secara ekonomi. Akibatnya banyak yang mendadak menjadi miskin, sehingga perlu uluran tangan pemerintah. Kemampuan pemerintah dan pemerintah daerah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup masyarakat tersebut terkendala oleh data dan pergerakan masyarakat yang sangat dinamis.
Dalam rangka membantu pemerintah daerah kabupaten bandung barat, maka IKAPTK berinisiatif untuk mengumpulkan dana dari para anggotanya untuk kemudian dibelikan sembako. Sembako tersebut kemudian dibagikan di beberapa zona di bandung barat. Kegiatan tersebut membuktikan bahwa para purna praja tidak hanya tanggap dalam pelaksanaan tugas nya sebagai abdi negara namun juga peka sebagai bagian masyarakat yang ada di Indonesia.
